At TRW Kids, we are dedicated to empowering youth through literacy, education, and athletics ages 0-19. Our mission is to provide innovative programs that inspire a love for learning, promote physical wellness, and create opportunities for children to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
We serve children and families through book distributions, tutoring, scholarships, family needy funding and youth sports programs designed to build confidence, discipline, and leadership.

I'm Whitney McFadden, the founder of TRW Kids Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to empowering children through literacy, education, athletics, and opportunity. As a mother of three and a school administrator, my passion for helping children has always been at the center of everything I do.
I dedicate this organization to my late great father and my son, who passed away at just 10 months old. During one of the most difficult times in my life, reading became my source of strength, healing, and understanding.

My name is Whitney McFadden, and I am the proud mother of three boys, a devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews, and an administrative professional within the school system. My passion for children, education, and personal development began long before my career—it started at home.
From a young age, I naturally took on the role of caregiver and mentor within my family. As the “cool aunt,” I found joy in teaching, inspiring, and guiding the children around me. But my true love for learning—especially reading—was instilled in me by my mother.
